The Dream Guild of Adoption Dreams Come True is honored to present to the
community of Larimer County The Dream Room.
Created and operated by the Dream Guild of Adoption Dreams Come True, The
Dream Room is a resource for low-income families in Larimer County with
children age 0-2 years old.
We opened our doors in April of 2008 and offer a large selection of donated
clothing, toys, baby gear, nursery room accessories, and diapers for free in
a true baby store setting. It is our vision to serve these families with
dignity and respect and give them a real boutique-style shopping experience
that most of them have never had for their children.

In these tough economic times we recognized that many families with small
children right here in own community needed help. And while we understand
there are government resources available to help many of those families that
qualify, there are many families who earn just enough to NOT qualify for
assistance, but who still desperately need it. For some of these families
the need is only short term, but for others it is a way of life. We will
not turn any family away from The Dream Room. We also offer resource
referrals for families in crisis.
We ask our clients to be on the honor system and take what they need for a
week, up to 7 outfits, 7 sleepers and accessories. They are allowed to shop
once a month and we keep track of what they take. It is so rewarding to
watch the faces of our clients when they come in for the first time and see
the way the Dream Room is set up for them.

In 2008 we served almost 500 children and their families. Today, the need
for the services of The Dream Room remains great. We are always accepting
donations of quality used clothing and accessories and diapers for our
families as well as cash donations. Volunteers are also needed on an ongoing
basis to staff and help run the Dream Room.
If you are interested in donating or volunteering your time, please call us
at (970) 232-6600 for more information.
